Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) is an effective treatment for a number of mental health issues, though it is most commonly used in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). EMDR utilizes bilateral stimulation (a rhythmic pulse seen, felt, or heard alternating between the left and right sides of the body) to aid in the processing of traumatic memories.

EMDR is a highly regarded treatment among both our clinicians and our clients. If you suffer due to a past traumatic experience, EMDR is a very likely to bring you the relief that you need.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a treatment approach that combines individual and group therapy. Clients undergoing DBT attend groups where they are taught and given the opportunity to practice a number of skills that are useful in a number of situations. These skills aim to help clients to manage their emotions in crisis situations, communicate more effectively, and overall improve the way in which they operate in the world.

DBT is the treatment of choice for those suffering from emotional, social, and behavioral difficulties, though people who are simply seeking to become more effective in their personal lives would also find great benefits from the skills taught in DBT.
