Meet Our Counselors

Elizabeth Shine

LPC

Hello, I am Elizabeth Shine, and I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Many people have not been in therapy and do not know what to expect. I can reassure you that therapy is not painful and can be a rewarding experience. Since graduating in 2012 with my Master’s degree in Counseling I’ve been working with individuals, couples, and families addressing an array of different issues. I specialize in Trauma and Grief therapy using EMDR and CPT, and while working with me, my clients will get to know me just as much as I know them. Therapy sessions with me will not be one-sided conversations with little interaction, but a deep real conversation with a real person who also sees you as a real person. I know calling a therapist can be intimidating, but I hope you can take a deep breath, and call to see how I can help.

Lindsey Pautler

PLPC

Hello, my name is Lindsey Pautler and I am a counselor here at Encouraging Hope Counseling! I am excited to announce I will be starting my journey to becoming a Certified Play Therapist April 28-29, 2023. I am looking forward to working with children to enhance the skills I will be learning. This will be a great addition to already working with various mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, and many others. I offer targeted psychotherapy methods and research based on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to guide individuals on a self-discovery journey to feeling better and learning effective ways of coping with diverse situations. Call today to see how I can help you.
